Job Summary
As a part-time member of the Low Voltage Team, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and ongoing support for video surveillance and access control systems. This position will be up to 24 hours a week and will have a company vehicle on site provided to drive throughout your work shift. The company vehicle will remain on-site after shifts and will not be taken home with you. Your role will involve troubleshooting, diagnosing issues, and ensuring the continued functionality of our Turnkey Systems after installation. You will work closely with clients to guide them through system use, answer technical inquiries, and provide remote or on-site support as needed. Your contributions will be carefully documented in our internal tracking system to maintain service continuity. A strong understanding of various surveillance cameras and access control products, particularly brands like Isonas, Verkada, Hanwha, OpenPath, and Milestone, will be essential to delivering effective support and solutions. As an essential part of our security support, participation in paid on-call rotations showcases commitment to our clients' safety around the clock.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Service of video surveillance and access control systems.
- Troubleshooting installed hardware to provide a Turnkey System.
- Following up with the clients on how products and systems work after service is completed.
- Documenting all work progress within our internal tracking system.
- Maintaining an organized and stocked company vehicle.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Compensation
Compensation is based on experience and skills.
- An on-call bonus is also provided once the technician gets added to the rotation.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Knowledge of a variety of different security products, such as surveillance cameras and access control systems. Knowledge of industry brands is a plus.
- Understanding of basic electronics, specifically AC&DC circuits, is preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to operate Boom and Scissor lifts.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple work assignments.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Motivation to continually learn and improve within the industry.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Education and Experience
- 3+ years of Access Control and/or Video Surveillance experience.
- Highschool Diploma or Equivalent required.
- A valid Indiana driver’s license is required.
