Location: Merrimack, NH or Westlake, TX (Local candidates preferred) Key Responsibilities Maintain and enhance VBA macros within Excel. Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve macro issues quickly and effectively. Work with APIs and connect Excel to various enterprise tools. Interact with Rumba to query 3270 screens. Generate outputs in Excel or Word, and automate Outlook emails. Access and update databases using MS Access, DB2, and SQL. Utilize Windows APIs to control active windows/screens and capture screenshots. Manage version control and macro deployments via Strike. Translate complex technical issues into business terms and collaborate with stakeholders to develop user-centric solutions. Required Skills Proficiency in VBA and Excel development . Experience working with Mainframe environments and tools like Rumba . Strong understanding of MS Access , DB2 , and SQL . Familiarity with APIs , XML, and JSON for data exchange. Basic knowledge of SQL Server for querying/updating. Ability to write and debug macros at various complexity levels. Knowledge of macro versioning and deployment tools like Strike . Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field. 6+ years of experience in VBA macro development, preferably in enterprise-level environments. Hands-on experience with Micro Focus Rumba or similar mainframe emulators.
