JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Penn State's Office of Strategic Communications (the University's central public relations and marketing division) seeks a part-time intern to assist with various aspects of visual content production and post-production. This position offers hands-on experience and is an ideal opportunity for students looking to develop their technical and visual storytelling skills.
This is a 10- to 12-week internship with University Marketing's creative services team and requires working 6 hours per week at $15 per hour. Candidates are required to be current Penn State students at University Park campus.

The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters. - Assist with editing and post-production tasks
- Capture visual content for social media platforms
- Identify and engage with colleges, departments, labs, groups, students, and events as potential subjects for visual content
- Attend events as needed
- Provide team support when needed
- Has a strong visual style and passion for experimentation in visual storytelling
- Is familiar with Premiere Pro and Davinci Resolve
- Is self-motivated and can work independently and in teams
- Can receive constructive feedback and apply it to improve content
- Understands current social media trends and digital storytelling techniques
- Has the ability to connect Penn State's goals and values to overall content strategy
