Hedonisia Hawaii Eco-Feminist Community. Hedonisia Hawaii EcoFeminist Community was started in 2004 in the Hawaiian rainforest. Our community is based on ecofeminism and ecotourism as our social and economic foundations. Though our community is small, the projects we work on have a global reach. We are idealists and pragmatists seeking entrepreneurial and creative solutions to various challenges we face in the world. In 2018, Hedonisia Hawaii was destroyed by lava flow from the Kilauea volcanic eruption. Undeterred, we continue to work on the many creative projects that were born at our pre-volcano community. There is a one-acre green zone on the property that did not get covered by lava. This is known as a Kipuka in the Hawaiian language. We are preparing to return to our land by slowly planting and landscaping on our Kipuka. In the meanwhile, our community is now virtual. Over five hundred volunteers from around the world have worked on the various projects in the Hedonisia Lava to Lotus Portfolio. We welcome you to be a volunteer on our virtual team, choosing a project that resonates with you. Educational Documentary Video Producer & Editor
We are creating educational information videos for the Hedonisia Lava to Lotus Portfolio of book and web projects. A principal theme of these projects is "pleasurable activism," defined as how to make the world a better place and have fun while doing so. We seek applicants who are proficient with video editing or using AI video creators. This is a perfect volunteer project for someone who is curious and likes to make mini-documentaries. As a volunteer, you can use your creativity, AI video, image and animation tools to help make an informational video about the project you are interested in. We have some photos, video excerpts, interview material, and screenshots of web pages. Your goal is to create a 3-10 minute informational video about the project you choose. Trigger Warning:
