Station/Company: Salem Media Group Location: Portland Oregon Hours: Full Time Job Summary Production Director & On-Air Weekday KRYP 93.1 FM – Regional Mexican Music format, KDZR La Patrona 1640 AM – Regional Mexican Oldies, and KNTS La Patrona 1680 AM (Seattle) – Regional Mexican Format. Salem Media Group is seeking a Production Director / On-Air Personality for 93.1 El Rey, La Patrona 1640 AM, and La Patrona 1680 AM in Seattle. The Production Director is responsible for station and commercial production. Responsibilities: Manage commercial production. Write, produce, and voice commercials in Spanish. Collaborate with AEs and clients to create customized spec spots to help close new business. Create effective ads that generate results and encourage repeat business. Coordinate with traffic and continuity departments to ensure commercials air correctly. Work with Program Directors on commercial content to meet legal, ethical, and decency standards. Collaborate across departments such as promotion, marketing, and programming to showcase on-air content. Attend client and sponsor meetings as needed. Create, design, and execute in-house commercial productions, from concept to final product. Participate in remotes and street team events as required. Voice track during the night shift, Monday to Friday, 7 pm - 12 am, in Portland and Seattle markets. Required Skills: Excellent organizational and communication skills in both English and Spanish. Familiarity with Wide Orbit, NexGen, Adobe Audition, or similar editing software. Strong copywriting skills. Interpersonal skills. Ability to manage variable workloads.
