Job Description:

We’re looking for a creative and versatile Videographer and Editor to help bring our robotics platforms to life through compelling visual content. In this role, you’ll be an essential part of our marketing and content team—working alongside engineers, designers, and leadership to produce videos that showcase our technology, educate our audience, and inspire the robotics community.

From unboxings and tutorials to behind-the-scenes interviews and viral shorts, you’ll be responsible for capturing the innovation and excitement happening every day at Trossen Robotics. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where storytelling meets cutting-edge technology, and every week offers something new to shoot, edit, and share with the world.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, shoot, and edit engaging video content for YouTube, social media, and internal projects
• Set up and manage lighting, cameras, and audio equipment for in-house shoots
• Collaborate with the Marketing Manager and engineering team to tell compelling stories about our people, products, and projects
• Produce a wide range of content including tutorials, unboxings, explainers, product demos, interviews, behind-the-scenes clips, and white paper overviews
• Assist in developing shot lists and creative concepts for upcoming videos
• Design motion graphics and visual assets for video and digital marketing content
• Maintain an organized content library and support ongoing social media initiatives with timely edits and creative formats

Required Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of videography experience (professional, academic, or portfolio-based)
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and After Effects
• Hands-on experience with DSLR and iPhone cameras, as well as audio recording gear
• Solid understanding of lighting techniques for video production
• Strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and editing for social platforms
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams
• Passion for robotics, technology, or science communication is a big bonus
