Job Description
We are looking for a full-stack web developer with experience building dynamic, data-driven digital projects across various platforms. The most qualified applicants have a demonstrated passion for innovative thinking, understanding the value of process and organization, and staying updated with emerging technologies through developer communities, publications, and personal experimentation.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain responsive websites using WordPress and other CMS solutions
- Create custom web and mobile applications based on client specifications
- Support internal web development projects, including marketing tools
- Document technical and user procedures
- Collaborate with team members and clients to define requirements and technical architecture
- Assist in quality assurance for project launches
- Ensure high-quality standards while meeting deadlines and budgets
- Research and develop emerging technologies
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in responsive website and application development
- Proficiency with web services and open-source frameworks
- Strong skills in PHP, WordPress, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with CSS and JavaScript frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind
- Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular is a plus
- Understanding of FTP, SSH, hosting environments, and database management
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
- Strong collaborative and mentoring abilities
- Semi-hybrid work schedule, requiring at least 4 days/week in Cheshire office, including Wednesdays
Preferred Experience
- Agency environment experience
- CRM and e-commerce platforms, including Shopify and WooCommerce
- Experience with static site generators like Eleventy or Jekyll
- Experience supporting QA automation and developing accessible websites (WCAG 2.0/2.1 AA)
