Special Projects Executive Producer .
Role
This position requires experience in television news with a strong background in producing and project management, success in feature storytelling and long-form content, the ability to collaborate with newsroom and station leaders and talent, and excellent journalistic integrity and judgement. With a passion for producing meaningful and memorable content, in this role you will:
Lead editorial planning, production, and execution of our Sunday Morning feature show that showcases in-depth, human-centered storytelling. Collaborate with News, Creative Services, and Digital teams to conceptualize and execute large-scale special coverage, such as election nights and community events. Help coordinate logistics for field anchoring during major events. Identify and develop new storytelling opportunities and community-driven content. Work with newsroom leadership to ensure projects align with brand standards and audience goals. Maintain editorial excellence and uphold journalistic integrity in all special content. Manage and update the station's special projects calendar, ensuring alignment across departments. Oversee and mentor newsroom interns, fostering a positive and educational experience.
