Overview of the Design Studio Specialist Role

You will inspire customers to express themselves through their home design. Your role includes assisting customers and completing sales at the cash wrap, promoting ongoing engagement, and strengthening their connection with our brand.

Responsibilities

1. Utilize design expertise to assist clients through one-on-one consultations in-store and in-home, focusing on designing their living spaces to increase store sales.
2. Conduct in-home consultations, including accurate measurements and space assessments.
3. Create and present personalized design plans based on client needs, styles, and preferences.
4. Stay informed about current sales and promotions to meet and exceed sales and productivity goals.
5. Provide exemplary service for special requests such as gift wrapping, registry, merchandise locating, orders, and deliveries.
6. Demonstrate excellent product knowledge of the entire design studio assortment.

Criteria

• Strong communication, clienteling, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage complex orders across various sales channels.
• Design experience preferred.
• Proven multitasking and prioritization skills.
• 1-2 years of customer service and retail sales experience; retail specialty experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move on the sales floor for extended periods.
• Capability to lift and move items up to 75 lbs. safely.
• Availability to work full-time or minimum 15 hours weekly for part-time roles, including weekends and holiday seasons.
