Title: Global Community Manager

Industry: Gaming/Entertainment

Location: Santa Monica, CA

Duration: 12 months

Responsibilities

• Identify emerging conversations and trends across social platforms that offer opportunities for the client to engage with, support, or champion its player base (e.g. fan art, cosplay, content creation, player sentiment, or emerging needs)
• Collaborate with Brand, Creative, Editorial, Influencer, Social, and PR teams to transform insights into globally resonant, player-first activations
• Manage direct, public-facing communication with players across the client’s IP (games, music, entertainment), creating content and touchpoints that reinforce brand values
• Partner with international community teams to elevate local insights to global audiences, and surface regional concerns or needs to internal global stakeholders when appropriate
  
  

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience managing online gaming communities, including work in social media, digital marketing, and influencer engagement
• Deep knowledge of community engagement best practices and player-first communication strategies
• Ability to interpret social and sentiment data, produce clear reporting, and summarize key learnings for executive audiences
• Proven ability to take projects from initial planning through to full execution
• Experience developing custom community initiatives
