Job Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and manage library services in accordance with university policies.
- Maintain collections of databases, books, periodicals, and audiovisual materials.
- Supervise interlibrary loan and cataloging activities.
- Create a welcoming environment for library users.
- Train students and faculty in library systems and databases.
- Oversee processing, cataloging, weeding, and circulation duties.
- Manage physical facilities and coordinate maintenance.
- Oversee textbook rental and operations, including acquisition, shipping, database management, and rentals.
- Supervise staff and manage departmental budget.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Master’s Degree and minimum 5 years of higher education experience. A Masters in Library Science is preferred. Equivalent education and experience may be considered.
