We’re looking for a Senior Audio Visual & Broadcast Engineer (Part-Time) to work on immersive client projects, focusing on broadcast engineering and AV system integration.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Create comprehensive CD-level integration drawings, including RCP (Reflected Ceiling Plans), equipment floorplans with cable pathways, system schematics for signal flow and wiring, rack elevations, and detailed cable schedules.
2. Design broadcast systems using TriCaster or similar equipment, with a thorough understanding of NDI for IP-based video and audio workflows.
3. Design systems utilizing Dante protocol for networked audio, ensuring proper integration of DSP equipment, especially QSC Q-Sys.
4. Create Bills of Materials (BOMs), select appropriate equipment, and ensure designs meet project requirements.
5. Read and interpret bid specifications, validate designs against bid requirements, and produce accurate bid submittals.

Qualifications:

1. 5+ years of experience as a Broadcast Engineer with a focus on AV system integration.
2. Expertise in AutoCAD for creating detailed CD-level drawings covering AV system design.
3. Hands-on experience with TriCaster or similar broadcast systems, with strong knowledge of NDI.
4. Strong understanding of Dante audio networking and QSC Q-Sys systems.
5. Familiarity with broadcast system orchestration and resource delegation functions is a plus.
6. Knowledge of broadcast video formats, including HD, UHD, and HDR, with experience using SDI and SMPTE 2110-20/-22 IP transport systems; experience with streaming media protocols is a plus.
7. Knowledge of networked audio protocols, including SMPTE 2110-30 and AES-67, is a plus.
8. CTS-D certification is a plus.
9. Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
