**THIS POSITION REQUIRES UP TO 70% TRAVEL.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

1. Provide daily reports to the project management team.
2. Install a variety of technologies into clients' existing and new build project sites.
3. Manage cable installations.
4. Plan layout and install all 1st fix hardware, including brackets and ceiling hardware, ensuring compliance with general contract requirements.
5. Apply knowledge of low voltage electrical concepts.
6. Possess basic carpentry and installation skills.
7. Use power tools safely and proficiently.
8. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems.
9. Travel as needed to other sites for project support and installations.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

1. Some experience with Crestron, Extron, QSYS, Cisco, or similar technologies.
2. Understanding of signal flow.
3. Knowledge of building AV racks according to AVIXA standards, ensuring proper airflow and layout.
4. Experience with cabling used in the AV industry and terminating associated connectors.
5. Ability to work with agility and a strong sense of urgency.
6. Responsive, efficient, with excellent customer interaction skills and professionalism.
7. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, demanding environment under pressure, with independent and confident thinking, self-motivation, and determination.
8. Engaged in continuous technical development.
9. Willing and able to work and travel globally as required.
10. Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
11. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
12. Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
13. Flexible and adaptable to change and varying hours to meet customer needs.
14. Motivated team player.
15. Valid driver's license.

SKILLS:

1. 1-3 years of experience in the AV/VC industry.
2. Knowledge of signal flow.
3. Experience with AV installation and technologies such as Cisco, Extron, Crestron, QSYS.
4. AVIXA CTS/CTS-I certification is desirable.
5. OSHA 10/30/SST certification is highly desirable.
