The UI/UX Web Developer will have expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks and be proficient in creating user-friendly interfaces. Responsibilities include developing web applications using C++, Java, JavaScript, and HTML, working with data engineers and system administrators, designing database architecture, managing system updates, ensuring security compliance, and producing technical documentation. Collaboration with testing teams to meet requirements is essential.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement solutions for product design and user experience.
- Gather requirements from Subject Matter Experts and Product Owners.
- Translate user requirements into technical designs and supportable software, ensuring industry and Army standards compliance.
- Create wireframes and high-fidelity UI mockups.
- Work with developers to understand technical constraints and desired functionalities.
- Design user-centered interfaces and evaluate their usability.
- Participate in Agile development from concept to release, supporting system integration and migration.
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, or related; Master’s preferred.
- Experience as a Product or UI/UX Designer.
- Minimum three years in UI/internet application development.
- Proficiency with web frameworks, wireframing tools, and browser compatibility.
- Experience with RESTful and SOAP web services.
- Development experience on UNIX/Linux and Windows.
- Version control with Git or similar tools.
- Experience in high-demand, high-security environments.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Secret security clearance or eligibility.
Travel
- Minimal travel required.
