Job Description
This position involves creating an engaging and safe environment for students, fostering creativity and learning in a camp or educational setting. Responsibilities include supervising students, leading activities, and ensuring safety at all times.
Responsibilities
- Assist with setup, teardown, and inventory management
- Manage check-in processes and lead icebreakers
- Plan and facilitate indoor and outdoor activities
- Prepare lesson plans and teach classes of approximately 8 students
- Ensure curriculum goals are met and enforce safety rules
- Communicate with families and escort students as needed
- Respond to emergencies and maintain a safe environment
Qualifications
- Experience with technology, preferably in two or more areas relevant to the program
- Flexibility, energy, positivity, leadership, and strong communication skills
- Background working with children and teens; camp experience preferred
- At least 2 years of college completed; previous iD experience is a plus
- Applicants under 18 are not eligible
Compensation
Pay varies by location, ranging from $16 to $21 per hour, or weekly rates in some areas. Benefits include 401(k) eligibility and paid sick leave where applicable. Hiring begins on 11/1/24 and continues through approximately 5/15/25.
