Job Description

HITN TV is seeking a Video Editor to help us edit content in Spanish for VOD platforms. The Editor will help remove slates, blacks, and natural breaks and export videos in broadcast quality. The candidate must also be able to make thumbnails in Photoshop and export them in specific formats, as well as write, read, and comprehend the Spanish language to log the episodic metadata. This position will also work with the creative and post-production departments.

The Ideal candidate will have experience in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, Premiere, After Effects, Media Encoder, Photoshop, and other visual tools.

Qualifications and Skills

Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, primarily Premier, Media Encoder, and Photoshop.

Pro tools, advanced level

DaVinci Resolve, advanced level

Deep understanding of the VOD process and standards.

User knowledge of Telestream Vantage software

Excellent communication skills in person and written.

Previous experience with project management platforms (Airtable, Frame.io, Monday.)

Ability to multitask and work under pressure

Requirements:

4+ Years of experience in video editing and video encoding.

Able to work occasional late nights and weekends.

Attention to detail and accuracy is a must.

Spanish fluency (written and spoken)
