$180,000.00/yr - $225,000.00/yr

Position Details

Title: Head of Engineering

Location: Austin, TX (Candidates must be in or able to relocate to the Austin, TX area)

Salary: $180k-$225k DOE + aggressive bonuses, 4 weeks PTO, 401k with match, comprehensive health insurance

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in Software Engineering
• 5-10+ years of experience in Engineering Leadership
• At least 5+ years of experience in the Video Game Industry

We have shipped over 200 games across 10 platforms and worked on some of the biggest PC gaming franchises. Responsibilities

This pivotal role involves leading our engineering team, driving growth, and cultivating talent within game development. You will steer the team through innovative projects, strengthen our ranks through strategic efforts, and contribute as a developer when needed. Proficiency in C++, Unreal Engine, and version control systems is essential.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of software development experience
• Experience collaborating with other video game developers/publishers
• 5+ years of engineering management/leadership
• Proven track record of delivering multiple titles across modern gaming platforms
• Excellence in C++ and proficiency in scripting languages like Blueprint, LUA, C#, Python, etc.
