Rate of Pay:
$112,279.56 - $117,893.53 per year
Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon, but not limited to, the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
Duties:
Design or create graphics to meet specific commercial or promotional needs, such as packaging, displays, or logos. Partner with internal team members to generate breakthrough strategies, concepts, and artifacts including, but not limited to graphics or prototypes to meet specific commercial or promotional needs such as websites, apps, content, packaging and/or logos that meet and exceed the requirements of the creative brief. Work with Sales and Experience leadership to identify client platform enhancement opportunities and support the creation of the experience brief when needed. Digest and interpret client and leadership direction effectively and consistently. Collaborate and support the creative team to develop and deliver integrated projects on time and budget. Establish and develop design solutions in accordance with brand equities, project concepts and technical specifications. Participate in conceptual work and presentations to support sales efforts as needed. Present work with confidence, balance creative requirements with client business requirements, articulating and defending decisions as necessary. Drive the advancement of research findings, and communicate those findings to advise stakeholders, participate in decision making, and make innovative and groundbreaking design work possible. Uphold accessibility best practices that reach compliance standards. Conduct research and/or testing workshops with stakeholders and end-users that support and validate proposed solutions.
Requirements:
Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Interaction Design, Graphic Design with a specialization in user experience design, visual communications, or related field and three years of experience in the job offered or three years of experience in any occupation in which the required experience was gained. Position also requires three years of experience in each of the following: Create wireframes, site maps, user personas, task flows, and user scenarios using Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD. Develop design systems, brand guidelines and high-fidelity visual mockups with Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD. Produce content graphic assets or branding using Figma, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator. Create prototypes and animations to showcase design concepts, using Figma Prototype and Adobe After Effects. Conduct informal and formal customer research using online research survey tools or stakeholder interviews through the requirements gathering process. Set up, deploy, and audit user tests by using online platforms as well as conducting in-person interview workshops. Review clients’ performance data using Google Analytics or Heatmap tools. Utilize project management tools, including JIRA or Confluence and apply project delivery methodologies, including Waterfall or Scrum. Conduct A/B testing to evaluate the performance of different design elements, features, or layouts and make data-driven recommendations to improve key performance metrics. Leverage industry best practices and research groups (such as Baymard Research Group or Nielsen Norman’s 10 Principles of UX) to evaluate client’s existing websites and report any recommendations based on business or performance priorities.
