Overview
Position Overview The Interior Designer plays a pivotal role in bringing sophisticated commercial and hospitality interior projects to life. Working closely with the Studio Lead, this position supports all phases of the design process—from concept through completion. This role requires collaboration with high-profile clients, such as owners of sports clubs and leaders in finance and private wealth and calls for an ability to translate unique visions into refined, tailored spaces. While Mathias Collective does not follow a single aesthetic, the work requires high-end, bespoke design decisions.
Bachelor’s of Master’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture
Experience: Minimum of 5–7 years including all design phases. Background in hospitality or sports/entertainment design preferred
Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in Revit, Enscape, Photoshop, and InDesign, Bluebeam
Experience in contract furniture sourcing, expertise in codes, ADA, and BOMA

Elevate the Studio’s Creative Reputation - Contribute innovative, trend-aware solutions that reinforce Mathias Collective’s position as a trusted, visionary design partner.
Design Documentation & Visualization - Create detailed design drawings, 3D models, and renderings using Revit, Enscape, Photoshop, and AutoCAD.
Product Sourcing & Specification - Select and specify contract furniture, fixtures, finishes, and accessories; Project Support & Coordination - Establish timelines, site visits, and installations to ensure smooth execution across all design phases. Deliver Bespoke Design Solutions: Support Project Excellence: Contribute to process, quality, and team clarity across all design phases
Our office operates 9a – 4p Monday through Friday. Work outside of office hours will be required.
