What you will do:
Leverage our in-house development tools and technology, in conjunction with commercial tools (Photoshop, Sublime, Vysor, JIRA, SVN, etc.), to develop device and mobile application content to support the customer service operations of companies worldwideWork in an Agile team environment to meet rigorous internal and external deadlinesContribute to measurable technical standards and process improvementsDevelop code while maintaining organization and consistencySelf-manage and assign tasks, seeing through to completion within expected timelinesWhat you will bring to the role:
Clear and concise communication skillsAbility to focus in an open office environmentDesire to better yourself and the team around youAbility to demonstrate the highest level of attention to detailDemonstrated web development experienceDegree in a technical field or actively pursuing degree is preferredExperience in at least one coding language, Photoshop and a version control system such as GIT or SVN is preferredRequired to work a minimum of 15 hours per week (during normal business hours). This role starts at $15.50Training is for 4-6 weeks and will take place in the Blacksburg, VA office. Training is paid. Once training is completed applicants will work from home, but applicants must be within a commutable distance to the office. Applicants must be based in the continental US.
