Location: Remote or Internal (Garner, North Carolina)
The Principal UI/UX Product Manager will drive the vision, strategy, and execution of user experience across the Exa Platform, ensuring a cohesive and modern interface for all healthcare IT stakeholders. This leadership role blends strategic design thinking with product ownership to shape consistent, intuitive, and innovative user experiences that span the product suite and support key marketing efforts. This position provides KMHA with composite value by developing a consistent UI/IX experience across different organizational business units including HCIT and X-Ray.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- UI/UX Vision & Leadership: Define and evangelize a compelling user experience vision for Exa Platform. Ensure a consistent and high-quality UI/UX experience across all modules and business silos.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Management, Development, Clinical Users, and Marketing teams to guide and influence product direction through a UX lens.
- Mockups & Prototyping: Lead the creation of high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, and visual specs for new product features, enhancements, and marketing demos.

- Design System Oversight: Establish and govern a UI design system and style guide for use across all product teams to enforce design consistency and scalability.
- Customer-Centered Design: Conduct user research, usability studies, and stakeholder interviews to validate concepts and drive empathetic, patient-centric design decisions.
- Visual Marketing Collateral: Partner with Marketing to develop UX-led product visualizations for sales enablement, trade shows, website assets, and executive presentations.
- UI/UX Metrics & Feedback: Define and monitor user experience KPIs, and leverage analytics and feedback loops to continuously optimize the user journey.
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or related field; Master's preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in UI/UX/Product Design with at least 3 years in a product leadership role
- Portfolio demonstrating experience with large-scale B2B or healthcare platforms.
- Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, responsive design, accessibility standards, and interaction design.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe CC, Axure).
- Strong visual and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present design strategy to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working within agile product development environments.
