Purpose and Objective: SAP Labs, LLC seeks a User Experience Design Specialist at our Palo Alto, CA location to provide product requirement engineering, product design, and development support to product development teams. This includes analysis and investigation of applications/systems, graphics, web, multimedia, voice response, and conversational UI. Expectations and Tasks:
Responsible for UI design delivery outcomes for mobile applications. Conduct user research, support collection of user data, analyze data, and write research reports (e.g., semi-structured interviews, surveys). Support conversion of user data into task flows and basic use cases for specific product areas (e.g., FIN, MFG, HCM). Support usability studies testing UI standard building blocks and pattern concepts across domains. Present and communicate research findings to stakeholders. Develop UI proposals using UX tools to address UI issues. Create and validate use cases within domain areas. Collaborate with developers on technical feasibility, producing specifications for UI outcomes and technical requirements. Design unique user and interaction flows for data presentation. Create, evaluate, and modify UI prototypes to support software development. Review design concepts and implementations, providing UX input. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Digital Media, or related field, with five (5) years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with two (2) years of experience. Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:
Experience designing native mobile products focusing on interaction and visual design using Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch. Design of accessible mobile/web applications following WCAG guidelines. Experience designing B2B products. Creating wireframes, information architecture, and prototypes. Proficiency in UX research methods, data analysis, and prioritization. Knowledge of design principles, including Material Design or Apple Human Interface Guidelines. Experience with user-centered design methods or Design Thinking. Compensation: The annual base salary range is $153,477 - $178,740. The total targeted compensation range is $153,477 - $198,600, depending on education, skills, experience, and other factors. Incentives are performance-dependent.
