$65,000 - $95,000 annually Pay:
Building Studio Architects is seeking a motivated, self-directed, proactive architect or architectural draftsperson. Our ideal candidate is organized, technically proficient in CAD drafting, knowledgeable about construction codes and standards, and an excellent communicator. You will participate in all phases of projects from schematic design, through construction documents and construction administration for both new construction, and renovations in the residential, commercial, and institutional sectors. You should be able to work both independently and in a team environment. This is NOT a remote position. Work is in-office but we do presently have work from home days and recognize flexibility in work schedules.
The job will generally involve the following based on experience level:
Code research and compliance documentation Schematic design through project completion including client communications All drafting and detailing for projects of various sizes primarily in NYC Administering junior staff if appropriate: redlining and leading project teams Coordinating engineering and other consultants Client interaction and project management
Software Skills Required
Autocad Revit Adobe Creative Suite
Experience Level And Salary Ranges
Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field required for all positions Junior Associate 3 - 5 years of professional experience: $60 - $70K annually Intermediate Associate 5 - 8 years of professional experience: $70 - $80K annually Senior Associate/ Project Architect 12+ years of professional experience: $90+ (commensurate with experience)
