Thatgamecompany, Inc. is seeking a Content Producer in Santa Monica, CA.
Duties:
- Coordinate Sky’s live content projects, including Sky seasons production, seasonal content & features, season team support, and collaboration with NetEase.
- Oversee production to ensure timely completion and quality of all tasks and deliverables for season teams.
- Provide support to team members to ensure efficient processes, including building dashboards, managing backlogs, gathering requirements, and organizing sessions.
- Foster sustainable development practices through process analysis and iteration.
- Act as a liaison to provide teams with information about upcoming content and features for marketing and community engagement.
- Organize feedback, review loops, testing, and content preparation for releases.
- Enhance cross-functional communication via channels and meetings.
- Work with project leads on roadmaps, scheduling, and resourcing.
- Build and maintain development schedules, assign tasks, and track milestones.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks, escalate risks, and act as a release manager when needed.
- Contribute to company culture and support regional project management, including collaboration with NetEase and regional partners.
- Facilitate cross-departmental meetings, convert requests into tasks, and support joint initiatives.
- Maintain partner pages, support promotions, review marketing campaigns, ensure regional compliance, and provide translation services.
- Assist with regional content ratings, documentation, and provide cultural input for in-game content.
- Telecommuting is permitted.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Game Development, Marketing, Entertainment, or related fields.
- At least 2 years of related experience in game development, production, or project management.
- Experience shipping major game features or entire projects, especially in live, mobile, or social games.
- Knowledge of marketing, advertising, and brand-building in the Asian IT/games market.
- Experience with agile methodologies and tools.
- Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) is required.
Salary: $94,400 - $130,470 per year for 40 hours/week.
