Storm8, developer of many successful mobile games, including the very popular Property Brothers Home Design and Home Design Makeover, is now looking for a talented Senior UI / UX Designer to help us level up-as we further expand our portfolio of games, and continue to add exciting new features to keep our players engaged and entertained! Our Senior UI / UX Designer will be responsible for working with our team of Designers, Engineers, and Artists to bring our new visions and ideas to life : all the way from wireframes to finished in-game UI art and animation. The ideal candidate will bring a solid and seasoned understanding of mobile game development and current trends, as well as the ability to contribute at a high level with minimal direction. Portfolio link is required to apply. YOUR MISSION Identifies the goals of each project and presents multiple realistic solutions. Calls out the pros and cons of each option Takes feature specifications and creates clear and detailed wireframes for other departments to review Collaborates with other team members to come up with design solutions Works through all user flows, solving edge cases and interactivity challenges Mocks up screens and views, and responds and adjusts per team feedback Creates UI icons, dialog elements, and other assets within the game style Works with Engineering to implement UI assets, screens, and animation in Unity Playtests often to ensure quality work; fixes UI and localization bugs Constantly strives for pixel perfect implementation and consistent visual quality Creates clean and intuitive UX designs and promotes constant improvement of our UI / UX systems and shared functions Consistently produces quality visuals and works with Artists, Designers, and Engineers to push the envelope of our UI visuals and animation Shares knowledge and experience with other members of the team by providing constructive and actionable feedback to ensure product consistency and quality Receives feedback gracefully Consistently performs at a high level with minimal direction Strives to always design an innovative UI and a positive UX YOUR BACKSTORY BA degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or a closely related discipline 5 years of experience as a UI / UX Designer in game development Solid UX, art, graphic design, and motion graphics / animation knowledge and abilities Strong proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, and Unity A compelling UI / UX portfolio, including both wireframe and finished UI work, that displays proficiency in all stages of feature development Capacity to scope, set project deadlines, and deliver work on time to meet project deadlines Skilled in presenting ideas and making recommendations based on facts and examples in a clear and coherent manner Ability to create and contribute to a style for a game's UI and interactivity that is very appealing, intuitive, and clear Stillfront Stillfront is a global gaming company.
