Job Title: Creative/Marketing - Instructional Designer
Job Duration: 3 months on W2
Job Location: Fully remote
Job Description: instructional systems designer is responsible for designing, developing and delivering instructional materials and experiences, both digital and physical, in a consistent and reliable fashion toward an efficient, effective, appealing, engaging and inspiring acquisition of knowledge
Overview:
•1 contractor - full time (40 hrs/week)
•ASAP through early August (potential extension into September)
•Focused on building change management training content; instructional design ability required
Scope of work:
1. Utilizing a new customer and employee segmentation strategy that has been launched to:
a. Update talent profiles on behalf of and under the direction/guidance of the HR Business Partner
b. Build playbooks and guides to inform and train the frontline workforce of this new strategy and the new segments; will include customer and employee experience mapping design
c. Based on the revised employee segments and strategy, determining priority questions that hiring managers may use in interviewing candidates for each segment during the hiring process
2. Utilizing a new store selling and service model:
a. Designing and developing change training to inform frontline workforce of new selling and service model
i. Training contents will require customization for different audience segments (e.g., Regional or District Manager v. Store Associate)
b. Determining and supporting content launch/implementation to the frontline workforce; potentially also supporting some facilitation where needed
Ideal skills and experiences:
•Understanding/knowledge of change management and fundamentals of training/adult learning
•Worked in corporate environment building trainings and materials for a frontline workforce
•Experience having worked in an HR organization / understanding of Talent fundamentals
•Instructional design - ability to design, develop, and launch learnings/trainings/programs that can be delivered in various formats/modalities for a frontline workforce
Additional Regions: Contractor can be located in San Francisco Bay area, New York Metro, or remote.
