Job Requirements The Assistant Manager, Retail Marketing will be working with the Consumer Products division for Canada, assist in identifying opportunities for licensees to grow their business through retail marketing partnerships
Retail marketing programs – assist and partner with team on the ideation and development of customized, cross-category retail programs that drive return on investment
Licensee and partner communications – lead licensee participation (soliciting input/insights/needs analysis in the development of programs), securing partnership in programs and tin cupping (fundraising), communicating and updating elements of the marketing programs and how to capitalize at retail
Develop presentations and pitch documents to present to potential licensees, retailers, and business partners where appropriate
Project management on programs from concept to execution through to post-mortems including production of television commercials
Working with NY and UK retail teams on updates, process, info to disseminate to the team and identify synergies on retail initiatives
Liaise and share information with Nickelodeon global consumer products partners in Canada (Spinmaster, Jakks, Lego, Fisher Price and Paramount)
Work with broadcast partners (Nickelodeon Canada, YTV, Treehouse, Vrak, Tele-Quebec) to update local broadcast schedules and program ratings data
Admininstrative responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Working with the Director of Retail Sales and Marketing, assist in the development and coordination of marketing activities with key retail partners (Walmart, TRU, Target):
•Responsible for the development of all retail marketing critical paths, timing and action plan creation and management
•Create/submit project briefs for CP projects
•Review all creative for accuracy and marketing effectiveness and ensure that approval through Third Party process completed
•Manage and maintain marketing budgets with Director
•Develop partnership pitch kits to sell in retail marketing programs (value exchange, value add, etc), present to licensees and fundraise to secure financial support from partners
•Develop presentations (property one sheets) and pitch documents (retail program one sheets) to present to potential licensees, retailers, and business partners where appropriate
•Report key results, success stories and other relevant business issues to internal and external stakeholders
•Maintain department files and provide admin support as needed

Basic Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s Degree
•Strategic Marketing background
•Proven ability to work with multiple offices and parties
•Project management
•Excellent written, oral communication and marketing skills
•Strong organizational skills
