Job Requirements • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education.
• Google AdWords Certification
• Solid knowledge of Facebook ads platform (keywords/demographics, etc)
• Expert knowledge of Google Analytics
• PC proficiency and solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Must know Excel backward and forward.
• 2+ years of media planning experience in an advertising agency with all traditional and digital media
• Well organized, detail oriented, with strict attention to detail.
• Good time management skills. Ability to prioritize multiple projects, meet deadlines and work under pressure in a fast paced environment.
• Analytical and proactive thinker with a self-starter personality.
• Media vendor negotiation experience.
• Ability to understand client objectives and how they translate into media strategies.
About Our Company Swell Media is a full-service media agency in Portsmouth, NH. We work with clients from a variety of industries to plan and optimize their media and digital marketing presence. We’re looking for a Media Planner who is ready to hit the ground running.

The Media Planner will play a key role in developing media strategy and media plans, and make recommendations consistent with approved strategies. This position is essential to the day-to-day running of the media accounts, and requires an individual who work well in a team-based, fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.

• Schedules and joins meetings with media representatives to evaluate various vehicles and compile client-specific POVs
• Manages multiple PPC campaigns across all Search Engines (Google, Yahoo/Bing, Facebook, and others as necessary)
• Conducts landing page assessment and improvement (by making recommendations for optimizing design, layout, and optimization for PPC effectiveness)
• Consistently reviews analytics with the goal of campaign improvement
• Conducts deep review and up-to-date monitoring of competitive activity
• Develops media plans and recommendations for a variety of brands, across various categories
• Presents media plans to client for approval and adjusts as necessary. Ensures all relevant parties always have latest, accurate plan
• Negotiates rates for media space, as specified in approved media plan, to optimize budget
• Manages agreements and contracts with outside media vendors and negotiates billing adjustments when contract requirements are not met
