Job Requirements Required Skills:

• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze, assess, and make recommendations
• Capable of jumping quickly into new business issues, translating them into data analytics, reviewing existing reporting and providing first assessment tagging
• Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously, while having a high comfort level with assignment prioritization changes
• Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to present to various business and technical teams
• Strong customer service orientation

Required Experience:

• Bacherlor’s degree in Computer Science, M.I.S., Business, Math/Stats or related field.
• 3 to 5 years web analytics experience
• Minimum of 2 years experience working in Omniture and Google Analytics
• Experience in Coremetrics is a plus
• At least one experience managing website tagging
• Experience with BI tools is a plus (Business Objects and Tableau Software preferred)
About Our Company The Revenue Lab, a team of senior executives with a long track record of producing revenue from digital news products, is looking for a data analyst to consult on a project basis. The opportunity available is to work with our senior product, data and sales strategists to:

• Propose to clients the right Key Performance Indicators associated in each Revenue Lab project
• Define test methodologies as needed (A/B testing, Test/Control group, etc.)
• Evaluate and recommend web analytics tagging plans to clients
• Analyze results dashboards and prepare recommendations
• Generate insights in data sets provided by our clients in the digital news publishing business
• Provide strong data analysis support for Revenue Lab advisors

The Data Analyst understands business objectives, data questions, and site-tagging problems to ensure accuracy of data capture. The ideal candidate is strongly motivated by analyzing and profiling data, and has experience with web tagging, web analytics, business intelligence and data warehousing.
