Job Description Digital Marketing Strategist 4730 N Service Dr, Winona, MN 55987 HEADP Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 5:00pm OVERVIEW: Working as Full-time Digital Marketing Strategist, you will be responsible for assisting with the growth, development and maintenance of marketing email, paid advertising and social media initiatives. You will develop and maintain creative content that aids in growing our brand. In addition to executing digital content, you will monitor analytics for digital efforts with a focus on continuous development and improvement. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals. RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: o Collaborating with the digital marketing manager, marketing strategists and other stakeholders to develop and implement digital activities across multiple platforms o Planning and executing email, social media and display advertising campaigns o Executing a range of techniques including email curation and execution, building landing pages, paid search/PPC and SEO development and execution o Presenting and maintaining our brand messaging to external audiences o Maintaining marketing automation integration with CRM and manage efforts and processes to improve operational efficiencies o Identifying trends and insights to optimize spend and performance o Brainstorming new and creative growth strategies through digital marketing o Measuring and reporting on all digital campaigns and assessing against goals (KPIs and ROI) REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: The following skills and qualifications are required for this position: o Possess or working towards a Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications or Business degree OR possess 3 years of related work experience o Excellent written and oral communication skills o Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite o Knowledge of Google applications, such as Analytics, Ads, Shopping, etc. o Knowledge of SEO/SEM strategy and implementation o Knowledge of social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter o Demonstrate strong understanding of online digital marketing concepts, strategy and best practices o Demonstrate a creative mindset with the ability to work on multiple projects with short lead times o Highly motivated, self-directed and customer service oriented o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities o Work independently as well as in a team environment o Exhibit a desire to learn and implement new programs o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY) PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: o Experience with email marketing, social media programs or PPC initiatives o Experience in web design and editing ABOUT US: Since 1967 Fastenal has grown as a distributor of industrial and construction supplies from a single branch to a Fortune 500 company with over 3,000 servicing locations, each providing tailored local inventory and personal service for our customers.
