Job Summary
The Event Service Technician is responsible for assisting with floor operations, including setup, strike, and operations of technology solutions in a hotel or hospitality environment, focusing on delivering unmatched customer service to our guests and clients. Business hours will vary based on levels of business. Extended hours and weekends are required. Less than 5% travel outside the assigned region is anticipated.
Essential Functions
- Ensure all event setups and strikes are completed according to Company SOPs.
- Greet guests/clients before events and provide clear instructions on equipment operation.
- Maintain communication with clients to ensure event success.
- Follow through on all client requests.
- Look for opportunities to enhance client events.
- Maintain accurate client event information in the company's systems.
- Review daily invoices with clients and obtain signatures.
- Comply with all security and safety measures; monitor inventory and equipment to prevent theft and damage.
- Ensure all inventory is in good condition and report any lost, stolen, or damaged equipment immediately.
- Keep company areas clean, organized, and up to standards.
- Work on enhancing technical skills, including audio, video/data, staging, computer operation, and networking.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in audio-visual or hospitality industry preferred.
- Proficiency with computer hardware, software, and networking.
