The ideal candidate will possess a profound knowledge in building high-performance websites and APIs using PHP-based technologies. Your experience with popular open-source Content Management Systems (CMS) including Craft CMS, WordPress, and Magento will play a crucial role in the success of our projects. This is a permanent position.Key Responsibilities:Provide leadership and expertise in the development and deployment of performant websites and APIs using PHP-based solutions.Play a central role in client and team meetings, ensuring clear communication and driving projects to successful completion.Act as a mentor and guide for team members, fostering a culture of growth, knowledge sharing, and collaborative problem-solving.Troubleshoot complex technical challenges, employing your deep understanding of software design, caching mechanisms, authentication processes, and performance optimization.

Key Qualifications:

A minimum of 6 years of experience in developing complex PHP solutions.At least 4 years of hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in web page development.2-4 years of practical experience with Craft CMS and Magento.Proficiency in using Composer for dependency management and understanding of deployment pipelines.Extensive experience in building and integrating with RESTful APIs.Strong SQL skills, with the ability to create queries across complex data sets.Minimum of 2 years of experience in developing websites and custom plugins for WordPress.In-depth knowledge of software design patterns, automated testing, continuous integration, and thoughtful refactoring.Exceptional debugging skills with the ability to resolve intricate issues related to caching, authentication, and performance.The capability to deliver clean, maintainable code that minimizes the need for rework.Strong mentoring skills, with a focus on empathy and assisting team members in overcoming technical hurdles.Excellent remote communication skills, and the ability to provide proactive updates on project status.Work Environment:You will be a key member of a small, cross-disciplinary team comprised of developers, a client strategist, user experience specialists, and product designers. Our team adheres to a Scrum methodology tailored to meet the unique demands of agency work. This role will require you to wear multiple hats and engage directly with various clients, ensuring a varied and dynamic work experience.Compensation
