We are currently seeking a Manager, Content Creation to strategize, conceive, and create digital content for the Avon Books, Epic Reads, and Harper Voyager social media channels with an emphasis on TikTok and Reels.

This is a hybrid role based in NYC.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategizes, conceives, and creates digital content for the Avon Books, Epic Reads, and Harper Voyager social media channels with an emphasis on TikTok and Reels.
  • Identifies and capitalizes on new developments and key insights with TikTok including sounds, templates, and relevant pop culture moments, with an eye towards audience growth and fan engagement.
  • Collaborates with brand leads on TikTok strategy and best practices.
  • Interprets key analytics/research around BookTok and disseminates learnings to inform and educate the brand leads.
  • Fosters and maintains partnerships with key social media influencers to be featured on our TikTok pages when applicable.
  • Is regularly featured in TikTok content on our pages.

Qualifications:

  • 3-4 years of experience in social media marketing or content creation
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the BookTok space
  • Superior knowledge of social media video editing, with an emphasis on in-app TikTok features and effects
  • Skilled in using major social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, X, and Facebook
  • Proven success in cultivating and growing dedicated following on social media
  • Comfortable being on-camera
  • Excellent skillset in project management, communication, organization, working independently and presentations.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally across the division and within the company
  • Exceptional written and oral communications skills, positive attitude, and a high level of professionalism, creativity, and attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills necessary, especially MS Office Suite
  • Passion for books
  • Familiarity with digital analytics and tools preferred
  • Proficient knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, iMovie, or FinalCut a plus
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or similar design programs, like Canva a plus

The salary range for this position is $65,000-$75,000. We recognize that attracting the best talent is key to our strategy and success as a company.
