EDI Communications SupportLocation: Dallas, TX (Onsite Work)Duration: Full Time/ContractRate: DOE

The BNSF eServices team is searching for a full-time contractor candidate for our EDI Communications and Support team.

A successful candidate will assist in configuring, testing, monitoring, and supporting B2B partner communications. Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills are required along with the ability to assist in providing support, including 24x7 on-call rotation. Leadership and coordination with other internal teams and customers to develop appropriate interfaces and ensure quality and efficiency. The ability to execute capacity planning, performance assessment, as well as integration and regression testing to resolve complex business needs is important. This candidate must be able to communicate clear and concise details and instructions verbally and in writing.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Three (3) or more years in a communications support role working with the Axway B2Bi, and Secure Relay products - configuration, and testing/validation experience required.Note : Experience with another EDI Tool such as Sterling Integrator will NOT be considered.Experience working with and understanding IBM MQ SeriesBroad experience in FTP and sFTP-based communications including command-line processing.Strong knowledge of AS2-based communications and encryption methods.Well-versed in basic Unix/Linux system navigation, command-line processing, etc.Good working knowledge of EDI and X12 with an understanding of document structure and error handling.Strong verbal and written communication skillsWell organized with the ability to multi-taskAbility to be in on-call rotation providing 24x7 support5+ years of experience in an IT environment, preferably in an engineering/support roleBachelor's degree (preference in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or Business) or equivalent formal training or work experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience working with Axway Support resourcesExperience with troubleshooting partner communications issuesExperience with MQ/IPT messagingUnderstanding of (F5/BigIP) Load BalancerNetwork level troubleshooting (Connections, firewalls, etc.)Good understanding of best practices for application security considerations and solutions
