Experience with Front-End technologies includes JS frameworks (such as TypeScript, Next.js or React), HTML, and/or CSS

Overview

Do you want to help IBR build a portfolio of next-generation mobile enabled data collection systems? IBR is seeking an experienced UX/UI-focused front-end developer who is an effective communicator, has strong design skills, and exhibits a passion for effective usability. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience designing, presenting, implementing, and testing interfaces on a multitude of devices.

Responsibilities

Design engaging user experiences by creating workflows, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and other deliverables.

Prepare and present low/high fidelity prototypes to stakeholders that demonstrate functionality and the overall user journey.

Assist the larger development team with front-end code/style implementation and guide the testing team by way of thorough documentation and supporting visual information.

Qualifications

Graphic/Web/UX Design experience

Mastery of XD/Sketch/Figma or other prototyping/imaging tools including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator

Strong moderation skills and methods for group facilitation and consensus building

Mastery of cross-platform design experiences (Mac, Windows, iOS, Android, etc.)

Mastery of core front-end technologies, including modern JS frameworks (such as Typescript, Next.js or React), HTML, and SCSS/CSS

Familiarity with usability testing and analysis

Familiarity with code source control practices

Familiarity with an Angular/MySQL/JAVA-based development stack

Familiarity with 508 Compliance / testing strategies / applications

Familiarity with Agile Methodology

Familiarity with JIRA/Confluence

Familiarity with Amazon Web Services

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong attention to detail with the ability to replicate redlines/mockups/prototypes and design specifications

Ability to maintain professionalism while under pressure

Ability to work with a diverse team of analysts, testers, developers, architects, and other UX/UI team members

Ability to effectively present complex interface concepts to team members and stakeholders
