Currently looking for a Reliable and Experienced Automotive Service Advisor. Must have knowledge of sales, automotive repairs & work well with techs. Excellent people skills is very important.
Responsibilities for Service Writer:
Provide excellent customer service from intake to release of vehicle, and perform any additional follow upListen carefully to customer descriptions and assess the vehicle to determine the best repair planAble to sell customers repair needs, up sell other repair needs & sell preventive maintenanceCommunicate with parts sellers and technicians to make sure everything needed is on handProvide updates to customers as their work is completedAnswer detailed questions about services performed and price informationMaintain customer records by keeping all files organizedSchedule appointments over the phoneQualifications for Service Writer:
Basic math and accounting knowledgeUnderstanding of auto mechanics and the ability to identify appropriate repairs for vehicle problemsAbility to break down automotive or industry topics into understandable advice meant for customer understandingComputer and data-entry skillsOrganizational and record-keeping skillsAbility to stand, walk, sit and lift up to 25 poundsHave a teamwork mindset in the workplace and accept feedback on your workUnderstand the typical format of company schedules in order to manage time efficientlyAbility to multitask, work in high-stress settingsCompensation:
Salary (depends on experience- range $21 to $26 per hour) Plus Commission & Bonus.Incentive of sales per month with goal metManager advancement opportunity available, if desired.
