We are a fast-growing and dynamic automotive repair facility looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Automotive Service Writer to join our team. As an Automotive Service Writer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive the best possible experience, from the initial contact to the final bill.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers and listen to their concerns and needs regarding their vehiclesCommunicate with technicians to diagnose problems and provide detailed and accurate service informationPrepare and present accurate repair cost estimates to customersExplain the repair process and answer any questions customers may haveSchedule appointments and coordinate repairs with the service departmentFollow up with customers to ensure complete satisfaction with their service experienceContinuously update customer information and vehicle history records in our computer systemHandle customer complaints in a professional and empathetic mannerContinuously monitor and maintain inventory levels of supplies and equipment.Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalentProven experience as an Automotive Service Writer or similar customer service roleStrong understanding of automotive repair and maintenance servicesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environmentStrong computer skills, including experience with customer relationship management (CRM) softwareAbility to multitask and prioritize tasks effectivelyAbility to work in a team environment and build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
