Job Summary:

The Service Writer at Grand Prix Motorsports in Littleton, Colorado is a full-time, hourly customer service role that is essential to the success of our powersports dealership. Working alongside our team of knowledgeable and dedicated professionals, the Service Writer will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients. As an individual contributor, the successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that our customers receive the best possible experience while maintaining the smooth and efficient operation of the service department.

Compensation & Benefits:

This position offers a competitive salary range of $35,000 to $50,000 per year, paid biweekly. In addition, you will have access to a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a 401k retirement plan. Responsibilities:

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, both in person and over the phone- Schedule service appointments and communicate with customers regarding their service needs and expectations- Accurately document customer information, service requests, and work performed in our computer system- Maintain accurate records of all service transactions and ensure timely and accurate billing- Communicate with technicians to ensure timely completion of service work- Follow up with customers after service appointments to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or issues- Proactively identify and resolve customer concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner- Maintain a working knowledge of our products and services to effectively communicate with customers and provide recommendations- Collaborate with other team members to achieve department goals and objectives- Uphold a high level of professionalism and adhere to company policies and procedures at all times

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in powersports technology or related field is preferred- 1-2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in the powersports industry- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities- Proficiency in computer systems and software, including MS Office and dealership management systems- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment- Knowledge of basic powersports terminology and familiarity with service department operations- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
