The Marketing Manager is an essential position for managing all marketing related goals, objectives and initiatives for the 1st Century Bank division of MidFirst Bank. This position works with 1st Century management and sales and operations teams to effectively develop and execute marketing strategy in a timely manner, and to established quality standards and expectations. Advanced planning and proactive thinking are keys to the success of this position, the marketing department and the lines of business served.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and execute marketing consistent with the strategic goals and objectivesProactively make marketing strategy and plan recommendations based on content and road map informationCreate comprehensive marketing plans and timelines to support the sales and revenue objectives while meeting changing marketing demandsPresent regularly to senior and executive managementCreate and manage marketing projects and timelines in alignment with overall corporate goals and objectivesCoordinate projects and ensure projects are completed correctly and efficientlyWork with management, sales and operations teams as necessary to clearly define project elements, specifications and timelinesEnsure specifications and content information is complete, compliant and accurateCoordinate with other MidFirst business lines when necessary to launch products, campaigns and/or promotions in the California market to ensure all aspects are completed consistently in a timely mannerCreate and maintain process and planning spreadsheets to track and manage marketing projectsCoordinate with agency partners and provide feedback on projects as necessaryReview collateral items to ensure accuracy and consistency, while ensuring they are clear, easy to understand, and compliantSupport client events as needed, including branch openingsAssist with the creation, production, and distribution of promotional items and client giftsTravel up to 10% may be requiredPosition Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree5+ years of Marketing and Manager experience, or equivalent work experience of 10+ years. Financial institution/advertising agency experience is strongly preferredDeep knowledge of the Southern California market, including but not limited to Los Angeles, San Diego and Santa BarbaraConfident in writing marketing plans and strategy developmentStrong problem solving skills/solution-orientedFamiliar with marketing agency workflowsHighly organized andSelf-motivatedThrive in fast-paced environment and contribute to team structureExperience with managing and multi-tasking large project volumes while assessing priorities and managing time effectivelyExcellent writing and communication skillsHigh attention to detailCalm in stressful and pressure situationsQuick and thorough strategic thinkerAbility to lead brainstorming sessionsProficiency in Microsoft Office suite – Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint

Salary Range: $85,000.00 - $140,000.00.
