The Digital Marketing Manager oversees the brand’s digital strategy, digital/social media marketing initiatives and serves as product owner on multiple digital and technology-driven projects. The right candidate has 3-5 years agency or brand experience, digitally-focused and desires to continually grow his/her core skill set in the fast-paced restaurant industry. With past consumer brand or agency experience, the Digital Marketing Manager must be able to spot trends and execute upon Marketing’s vision to provide a better online and in-store guest experience—matching these with brand initiatives to show return on investment. This position is based in the corporate office and reports to the VP of Marketing.

What will you be responsible for?

Oversee the brand’s digital strategy and assist Digital Marketing Specialist with day-to-day execution in:

Digital Advertising – planning, placement, execution, tracking, reportingSocial Media Advertising – planning, placement, execution, tracking, reporting for National/Local Store Marketing Social Media campaignsSocial Media Promotions - new products, co-brands/partnerships, social engagement & social applicationsSocial Media Content Strategy & PlanningSocial Media MonitoringEmail MarketingLoyalty Program – managing strategy, campaign creation and reportingVendor ManagementBudgetingProject ManagementWebsite CMS ManagementBrand ActivationsSMS ProgramAct as marketing’s product owner in technology-focused initiatives including:Cousins Club loyalty programSMS ProgramOnline orderingMobile applicationSocial mediaListings managementConsumer and Franchise WebsitesGift card and E-giftVendor managementSEMGuest experience CRMUtilize analytics to manage, track and evaluate customer experience across online channels to optimize for conversion (sales), guest experience and guest engagement through advanced analytics, conversion funnels and attribution.Lead brand-level reporting for digital marketing campaigns and initiatives—providing recommendations for improvement to Cousins Subs’ leadership teamManage national and regional digital marketing budgetsReport ROAS when available through existing marketing channelsEvaluate emerging technologies, develop business cases and provide perspective for potential adoptionManage day-to-day efforts between partnerships, promotions and digital vendors to plan and execute digital marketing projects and programsManage and develop Digital Marketing SpecialistPerform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by managementKey Roles include:Digital and Social Strategic PlanningDigital and Social Budget ManagementProject LeadVendor ManagementWebsite LeadWhat are we looking for?

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or Business Administration3-5 years of experience in digital marketing, social media marketing and project managementPrior experience in hands-on digital design and programmingCertifications in front-end development for HTML/CSS and other language(s) are requiredGoogle Ad Words Certification requiredGoogle Analytics Certification requiredScrum experience a plusExperience with consumer technology, past restaurant or service organization work and project management certification is highly desirableProven ability to plan and manage large projects—often three or more simultaneously—working cross-departmentally while staying on budget, scope and scheduleDemonstrated track record of managing projects where expectations and deliverables may be unclear, highly technical and/or change with new findingsExperience in project management and project management software/systems including: Jira, Basecamp, Microsoft Planner, Slack or other similar systems.In-depth knowledge of Agile processes/principles while bridging the gap between non-agile environments and teamsExperience in working with API integrations and/or multiple integrations working together and separatelyExperience in quality assurance (QA) testing for web and mobile developmentsDeep understanding of the role that social and digital media plays in the communication mix and how to apply these principles to national programs and promotionsCreative thinking and analytical problem-solving skillsStrong writing, interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of great leadership and coaching abilitiesWork individually, as a team and cross-departmentally with operations and ITSound business acumen; ability to think and negotiate strategicallyFun and collaborative, looking to help lead and develop a great team of passionate digital marketersCommitment to our four Core Values: Grounded, Passionate, Purposeful and OptimisticWhat can we offer you?
