We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects in the engineering industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing construction projects that improve and maintain our physical infrastructure. This includes, but is not limited to, roads, bridges, buildings, water supply systems, and sewage treatment facilities. The candidate will have the opportunity to work with a team of dedicated professionals to create designs and plans for public and private sector projects.

Job Details

Responsibilities:
1. Prepare detailed engineering plans, designs, and layouts for various civil projects using Civil 3D software.
2. Lead site development projects, including planning, designing, and overseeing construction.
3. Conduct research to determine project requirements and standards.
4. Provide cost estimates for materials, equipment, and labor to determine project feasibility.
5. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure designs are implemented correctly.
6. Evaluate potential project sites for suitability and prepare site development plans.
7. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and safety standards.
8. Perform risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies.
9. Monitor project progress and provide regular status reports to stakeholders.
10. Continually update knowledge and skills to stay current with industry trends and advancements.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on site development.
3. Proficiency in Civil 3D or similar engineering design software.
4. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
5. Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet tight deadlines.
6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
8. Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
9. Ability to conduct complex civil engineering research and analysis, and present findings clearly and concisely.
10. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
