We are representing a small tax firm in St. Petersburg that is focused on quality over quantity. They are seeking a Senior Tax Associate who is looking to grow into a Tax Manager within the near future. They also do not have time sheets / promote work life balance!

Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Mentoring Tax Staff
• Preparing and reviewing tax returns
• Performing federal and state tax research and tax planning
• Reviewing/analyzing quarterly and year end projections for clients
• Reviewing monthly client financials prepared by staff as well as preparing complex client financials
• Preparing business and individual returns

Qualifications:

• Accounting: 2+ (Preferred)
• Tax Experience: 2+ (Preferred)
• Tax Accounting: 2+ (Preferred)
• Experience Preparing (1120, 1120S, 1065, 990, 1040)
• Proficiency in MS Office 365 including Word and Excel
• QuickBooks Knowledge and Experience
• Payroll processing
• CPA or EA preferred
