As part of the Global Equities Prime Services technology team, an opportunity exists for a senior level C#/SQL developer to work on the firm's global equities Margin calculation systems using SS&C Syncova. The system aims to implement Syncova as a margin calculation platform, initially for Global Swap business and Cash Prime Services as phase 2.

The position is client-facing software development role for a prime brokerage within a mid-size investment bank. You would be joining a small team with ambitious objectives. The development will be primarily focused on the JPrime web application. The role involves directly supporting internal and external clients. As such, excellent communication skills and a client-focused attitude are a must.

The candidate should be able to demonstrate good analytical skills, strong software engineering skills and a logical approach to problem solving.

The ideal candidate should have experience with Agile Development Techniques, Unit/System Testing and Performance Tuning.

Well-rounded individual capable of contributing to all aspects of the life cycle of a development project from analysis and design through daily production supportWe're looking for a mid to senior level software developer, with strong, recent working knowledge of JavaScript, Angular, ASP.NET web api framework, C#, ASP.NET web forms, and SQL, and experience developing rich client applications using latest web standards. The candidate must have excellent communication skills, as he or she would be in a client-facing role.Solid experience with SQL, Proficient in coding business logic in SQL stored procedures, functions and triggersMinimum 10 years programming experience required.Minimum 5 years of experience in financial industry required.Candidates should also have excellent verbal and written communications skills and good attention to detail.We're looking for a person who works well on a team but is capable of independently accomplishing tasks of moderate to large scope and complexity. The candidate must have excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work quickly and effectively under time pressure, when needed, such as when resolving production problems.The ideal candidate would demonstrate a passion for software development and quality assurance and be familiar with the recent trends in technology.Additional Skills / Good to Have:

Xamarin framework / mobile app development skillsExperience with SwapsExperience with SS&C GenevaBachelor's degree required preferably in Computer Science. Advanced degree is a plus but not required.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range of $150,000-$225,000.

The salary offered will take into consideration an individual's experience level and qualifications.
