Event Marketing Internship - Brand Marketing

Gold Coast is eagerly seeking interns in order for us to grow and exceed our clients' expansion goals. We offer an exciting work environment that is fun and energetic. With the tools needed to develop essential marketing skills, our interns will grow as enthusiastic individuals. If you're looking to gain some amazing practical experience in marketing or clientele acquisition, then working within our Internship program will get you involved in all aspects of our marketing strategies.

Duties include but are not limited to:Work with other interns while gaining hands on marketing experience at our private site events across the Chicago regionContribute to brainstorming sessionsActively engage customers and potential customers, speaking to as many per day as possible to bring our clients brands to the massesAttend impacts, watch guest speakers, and become familiar with our marketing systemsShadow different departments to gain perspective, including marketing, sales, customer services and merchandisingShadow account managersTeam-projects centered on fostering a collaborative and productive workspaceIdentify trends and recommend proactive or remedial action to manage business situations.Work with management to develop and implement exciting campaignsIn addition to training, we provide:

Basic wage plus commission =$550-$800 (paid weekly)

Primary requirements:

Available to interview and start within 2 weeks' time18+ and eligible to work in the USA (no sponsorship available)The ability to work well in groups while also achieving individual goalsConfident communication skills and the ability to strike up conversationsExperience working with customers (ie: hospitality, retail, customer service, volunteering, etc)

Marketing/Communications/Business graduates and people who have played team sports are encouraged to apply ~ you'll feel right at home in our industry!
