The

Sr. Analyst, Geographic Information Systems

will develop strong relationships with Safelite's real estate, business acquisition, and field team leaders and will utilize Geographic Information System (GIS) software, statistics, programming, and/or modeling methodologies to produce, analyze, interpret, and visualize geospatial datasets in support of Safelite's real estate and acquisitions activities. Ideal candidates will have a solid understanding of GIS, expertise with ESRI's ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and Business Analyst software, and the desire to make an impact on the future of Safelite. This position will report to the Manager of Safelite's GIS team.

What You'll Do:Create and maintain various GIS databases, web apps, data visualization layers, and other similar products utilizing ArcGIS and other ESRI programsCollect, analyze, import, georeference, and digitize data sets related to Safelite's real estate portfolio and potential acquisition targetsProduce store capacity modeling for vehicle calibration and VGRR workCreate market reports, identify new facility search areas, identify potential acquisition geographies and targets, and communicate other areas of opportunity to field leadershipLead data preparation and presentation for footprint reviews with the real estate team, acquisitions team, and field leadershipConduct site suitability analysis with the Real Estate team and acquisitions teamDesign and create new mathematical models for advanced forecasting of consumer and business trendsBuild and maintain GIS support systems, such as map distribution, SharePoint, and Survey123Create new custom GIS web applications using JavaScriptDevelop programmatic automations using ArcGIS Model Builder and Python for GIS projectsSupport new site decision, existing site expansion, and company acquisition strategiesConduct natural disaster mapping of hurricane tracks, earthquake zones, wildfires, etc.Provide technical and analytical support to GIS systems usersCommunicate and collaborate with remote team members and individuals from a wide variety of backgrounds, both technical and non-technical.What You'll Need:

Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Systems, Data Analytics, Cartography, Computer Science, or related field.3+ years of practical GIS experience OR an advanced degree in relevant fieldSolid understanding of GIS and applied information management, expertise with Esri software (Desktop, Server, Online), and the ability to combine data science, aesthetics, and cartography to communicate information effectivelyExtensive experience in map generation and data visualizationExtensive experience applying geospatial concepts, methodologies, and solutionsPython and JavaScript programming experience is requiredWorking knowledge of AutoCADProficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access)Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to multi-task and stay organizedAbility to work independently and in a team environmentAbility to travel when necessary
