We’re seeking an experienced and skilled front-end developer to join our team and take the Aerospike website into the modern age. As our front-end developer you will be working closely with our Marketing and Developer Relations teams to build, from the ground up, the next iteration of the Aerospike website, one focused on speed and ease of use. This work will be the foundation for continuous improvements to all our public facing websites.Description
Take wireframes and visual designs from agency partners and bring them to lifeBuild and maintain core web assets, including marketing, documentation, etc.Write high-quality, scalable, and reusable codeAnalyze business requirements to produce thoughtful web applicationsWork with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate project work and deliverablesParticipate in the design and development of functional and technical specificationsDebug errors, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine optimizations within the tech stack for performance and securityKeep up-to-date with industry best practices for continuous improvementSkills
Degree in computer science, IT, or equivalent experience3-5 years of experience in web developmentAbility to work independently and on a teamSuperb interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsProficient in React, Next.js, or similar frameworksNode.js backend skills a plusExperience with AWS Lambda a plusExperience with RESTful APIs and optimizing front-end performanceExperience working with source control systems such as GitHigh proficiency with HTML and CSSExperience with headless CMS, like Contentful, WordPress as headless a plusSolid understanding of UI/UX design principlesAerospike is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
