Job Description

As a Cloud Solution Architect, you will design and implement comprehensive cloud solutions across multiple client projects, with a special emphasis on meeting the unique needs of the Media & Entertainment or Financial Services industry. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, industry insight, and a consultative approach to client engagement.

This is a hands-on role and is not commission based. This will be an up to 50% hands on role.

Expertise you bring

Design and develop scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions across various projects, with a focus on applications relevant to the M&E or FSI industry.

Engage with clients to understand their business challenges and technical requirements, translating these into effective cloud-based solutions.

Lead cloud transformation initiatives, advising on best practices for cloud adoption, application modernization, and digital transformation with a focus on M&E or FSI applications.

Provide expertise in cloud architecture, advocating for the use of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform services as best fits the project and client needs.

Stay updated on the latest cloud technologies and trends, especially those impacting the M&E or FSI sector, and leverage this knowledge in solution design and client consultations.

Facilitate workshops and training sessions for clients and internal teams, highlighting the benefits of cloud technologies in the M&E or FSI context.

Mentor junior architects and engineers, promoting a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Qualifications:Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.

AWS SA Professional Certification or ability to achieve in 90 days

A minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud solution architecture, with a demonstrated focus on the Media & Entertainment industry.

Strong understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within the M&E sector, including content distribution, digital rights management, and audience analytics.

Experience in application development and modernization, with familiarity in microservices, serverless architectures, and containerization.

Proven ability to lead and execute cloud migration and digital transformation projects.

Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of managing stakeholder expectations and leading project teams.

Flexibility to travel up to 50% for client engagements and project requirements as well as an expectation to visit our partners in Manhattan weekly with minimum travel expenses.

Preference to candidates that live in the greater NYC market #LI-Remote
