Sr Network Architect and Design

Roles & ResponsibilitiesIP protocol and subnet masking All Networking topologiesSwitching and configuration options (VLANS, HSRP, NSSA, DHCP, PBR, VPN's, NAT)Wireless: WiFi, AP/tunnel aggregation, white/black lists, QoS, , site surveysSolve complex problems with many variablesDevelop the customer's operations & system integration plan including end-to-end scenarios including schedules and budgetsWork directly with Agency and State technical resources to troubleshoot network problems.Experience with network architecture for LAN and WAN technologies, including design, development, and diagram creationExperience with Cisco network devices, including wired, wireless, routers, switches, load balancer, firewalls, and VoIP Experience with routing protocols, including TCP/IP, IPv4 or IPv6, and OSI routing frameworkExperience with storage infrastructure and virtualization, including iSCSI standard, NAS, and SAN infrastructure and configurationDevelop the technical network strategy roadmapDevelops and approves Root Cause Analysis (RCA's) and drives proactive / preventive process improvement Develops and evolves network Methods & Procedures (M&P'S) on an ongoing basis
