Bank Data Management Specialist - Sr AD - Contract - Weehawken, NJ - $45.00 - $49.00/hr.

The final salary or hourly wage, as applicable, paid to each candidate/applicant for this position is ultimately dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's/applicant's qualifications, skills, and level of experience as well as the geographical location of the position.

Our client is seeking a Bank Data Management Specialist - Sr AD in Weehawken, NJ.

Role Description• Support Data Owners and Stewards in the execution of key responsibilities including identification of key data, validation of controls, data quality assessments, data quality issue triage.• Support remediation of data quality risks & issues, collaborating with business and technology partners.• Partner with our technology organization to enhance our front to back data management practices & architecture (i.e., define requirements for master/authoritative data sourcing, controls and data quality rules, integration of data quality/governance reporting, etc.)• Drive automation efforts and integration of manual controls into front to back processes.• Work with peer data management organizations to assess and implement heightened levels of care as appropriate.• Support data-relevant continuous improvement effort and ongoing evolution of the Bank's data management practices

Skills & Requirements• Undergraduate degree, in a quantitative field• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, detail-oriented, project management skills and effectively work with cross-functional team• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Sound understanding of expert functions (Accounting, Risk, Operations and Treasury) and their processes• Experience with current regulations such as BCBS 239, OCC Heightened Banking Standards, IFRS, and CCAR is preferred.
