Genesis10 is currently seeking a Pega - Lead System Architect with our client in the financial industry located in Atlanta, GA, Chandler, AZ or Richmond, VA. This is a 12 + month contract position.
Responsibilities:
Design develop and be accountable for feature deliveryApply enterprise standards for solution design, coding and qualityEnsure solution meets product acceptance criteria with minimal technical debtResponsible for compliance and security items and audit support at the team levelAct as a liaison for production activities/issuesWork with the Product Owner to ensure that product backlog/requirements are healthy, with clear acceptance criteriaGuide the team on work breakdown and executionPlay a team lead role (as an individual contributor) and mentor the teamGuide team members with skills and practices (planning estimation, peer reviews and other engineering practices)Identify skill and role gaps, and work with Technology Manager to address themWork with Technology Manager in creating resource contingency plans where requiredRequirements:
At least 10 years of experience working with Agile development practices and test-driven development (TDD), object-oriented design (OOD)Hands-on experience with provisioning in public cloud providers via IaC (Terraform preferred)Hands-on experience with CI/CD toolchains such as Maven, Jenkins, AnsibleExperience on building and improving development environments and release automationExperience / certifications with public cloud technologies - Azure preferred, AWS and GCP, devopsExperience building microservices (Spring Boot, Swagger) and RESTful APIsExperience with Core Java, J2EE, Spring, JPA, Hibernate, Oracle, microservicesExperience with concurrent programming, caching, clustering, optimizationDeep knowledge of web protocols, multiple operating systems, hypervisors and distributed systems architectureExcellent understanding of the programming principles, design patterns and OO best practicesStrong analytical, problem solving and organizational skillsExcellent communication skillsExcellent collaborations skills and ability to work in a global teamMinimum of a 4-year degree in Computer Science or a related disciplineExperience in financial services industryExperience on technology and infrastructure teamsExperience in Linux/UNIX system administrationExperience with Container technologies (Kubernetes, Openshift, Docker)Pay Range: $96.20 - $104.20
